What’s in the box? WILDR family of products (WILDR-MIU, WILDR-MIU1, WILDR-MIU2, WILDR-REP, WILDR-MMR)

What’s the problem?

Is your server using RS-485 bus to communicate with the access panel, and it’s hard to wire to?

Maybe the panel is across the street in a different building, or across the parking lot requiring trenching? Solved! You can use a pair of WILDR-MIUs (RS-485) to extend the connection to the panel. One at the end of line in the first location, and one at the start of the line in the next location. No need to deal with ‘right of way’ red-tape, or trenching expense, not to mention the construction time.

WILDR-MIU

Is there a remote gate, or turnstile that needs to be connected to an access panel?

Solved! You can use a pair of WILDR-MIU1s, One at the access panel, and one at the gate. The card reader (Wiegand of Clock & Data), and the lock are powered by the radio. The line of site distance of about a mile is supported.

WILDR-MIU1

Are there multiple remote gates, but only a single access panel available?

Solved! WILDR-MIUx family products are addressable, and can be used in a Multiplex architecture, where one panel door-interface can be used to open multiple remote doors, gates, or checkpoints. At each of the locations, the radio provides power to the lock and the reader.

Would you like to eliminate expensive, space-wasting data center security cages?

Solved! Using WILDR-MIU2 (2-port controller) you can easily eliminate the cages that cost tens of thousands of $, and extend security to every rack at a fraction of the price.

WILDR_MIU2

WILDR-MIU2 was designed to extend security to server rack cabinets. The cabinet is fitted with special door handles. Each haandle has an integrated cards reader, and an electric strike. The handles connect to the WILDR-MIU2 to communicate with the panel. It also has an integrated temperature sensor to monitor the rack temperature.

Would you like to resolve the colocation issues in an expensive Data Center floor space?

Solved! The Multiplex feature of WILDR-MIU2 allows scattering the racks when needed. Maximize floor space utilization by placing the racks where there is space. Power and network cables are a standard part of the structured wiring. No need to pull extra security cables.
